Children are already positively shaped in the womb by a pregnancy with active parents. We want to support parents in encouraging their baby’s natural urge to move after birth: with our guidebook „Babies on the Move“.
In 20 episodes, this guidebook provides simple movement exercises for the home; in addition, parents learn interesting facts about the motor development of children up to two years of age. Each episode focuses on a specific area of motor development.
What is the importance of balance for child development and how does my child learn to keep its balance? The guidebook answers these questions and many more. At the same time, it provides clearly explained movement ideas that parents can imitate with their children at home. Even a rolled-up blanket, for example, can stimulate the development of the sense of balance in one’s own living room. All episodes are available free of charge: directly here or on the YouTube channel of the Kinderturnstiftung Baden-Württemberg.
